Message from the President

To life.
To the joy of the “grace of life” that was granted to us.
To the beauty of each person's path.
To dignity until the end of this time here…

We believe we can do things differently.

We believe in the “desire” to live happily, actively and with daily purpose, with complete indifference to the age that the calendar tells us.

We believe it's never too late to dream, plan and achieve what our hearts desire... and we go after it.

We believe in the wonder of “having” someone who helps us remember who we are, who opens our eyes and gives us a hand when we can’t help ourselves.

We believe we want to grow old in the place where we've lived most of our lives, in our home... in our neighborhood. We know these are the main references of our life... Our smells... the sounds... the neighbors... the gardens... going to the bakery... those things that are only ours that make us want to continue...

We believe that heart to heart, smiles return.

We believe in social interaction and participation, not isolation.

We believe in constant intellectual stimulation, not inertia that sets in.

We believe in emotional and affective care…the so-called hugs, not just in “basic care” to ensure you smell good.

We believe obsessively and with all the love and dedication that together…here at HUG…we will add years to your life. To our life. To life.

This is a project from the heart, one that comes from within.
Of those who appear with the clarity of a “call”
It was impossible for me to ignore…but rather DO!
It's a hug to aging. One of those really tight ones.
